[fopen] Techtalk Software Craftsmanship Teil 2: Der Workshop, der eigentlich ausfallen sollte

Hallo fopen,

Am Freitag den 20.01. (also morgen!) veranstalten wir zusammen mit der
Softwerkskammer Berlin[0] einen Coding Workshop, zu dem wir euch
herzlich einladen wollen.

Ort: MAR 0.002
Zeit: ab 18 Uhr

Dieser Workshop baut nur wenig auf dem eher untechnischen Vortrag letzte
Woche auf, von daher könnt ihr gern auch dann vorbeikommen, wenn ihr
letze Woche nicht dabei wart.

In einer entspannten Lernatmosphäre - ohne Deadline, Klausurrelevanz
oder Benotung - werdet ihr in Zweierpaaren das Game Of Life nach
Conway[1] implementieren. Das Besondere ist, dass ihr die Aufgabe
Test-getrieben entwickeln werdet - ohne Test kein Code.

Für den Workshop werden keinerlei Vorkenntnisse in Test-getriebener
Entwicklung benötigt. Der Workshop wird sich auf Java konzentrieren und
auf euren eigenen Laptops stattfinden, ihr könnt allerdings auch ohne
Laptop oder mit einer anderen Programmiersprache teilnehmen - solange je
zwei Teilnehmende einen Laptop haben geht es auf ;-)

English Version:

On Friday, Jan 20th, together with the Software Craftsmanship Community
Berlin[0], we will host a coding workshop, to which we'd kindly invite
you to join us.

Location: MAR 0.002
Time: 18:00

The workshop is only marginally based on the mostly non-technical talk
last week, so if you didn't attend the talk, feel free to come to the
workshop anyway.

You will team up with another participant in a relaxed setting - without
deadlines or gradings - and implement Conway's Game Of Life[1] but with
a twist: You're asked to implement it test-driven - no test? no code.

You don't need any knowledge in test-driven development. Though we will
focus on Java as a programming language, you can participate using a
programming language of your choice. You can also participate without
bringing a notebook - as long as there's one notebook for two
participants things will work out just fine.
