Hi Freitagsrunders!

We're looking for an excellent student to maintain and develop our experimental testbed platform, called the Routerlab. The Routerlab (https://www.net.t-labs.tu-berlin.de/research/routerlab/index.shtml) is a growing testbed platform that is used for a variety of scientific networking experiments (see /publications link) and also for teaching. The routerlab is currently growing with many new devices and technologies (e.g., OpenFlow[http://www.openflowswitch.net], Network Virtualization, Glab). To make this all work, we have quite a number of tools, at its heart a management tool call 'labtool', written in Ruby on Rails and Perl.

We're looking for motivated students who have experience in and want to learn more about the following topics:

- Linux System and Network Administration
- Virtualization
- Network Protocols and Services
- Tool software development using modern frameworks and approaches
- Cisco and Juniper switch and router administration
