We are a young, award-winning start-up based in Bernau bei Berlin (16min 
ride from Gesundbrunnen train station by public transport). Our young 
enthusiastic and fun team is developing, producing and marketing a 
unique robotic modular system for children:

We are seeking an enthusiastic hardware developer to support our team in 
the further development of our product.

Responsibilities*:*

**• Development of electronic circuits (analog / digital) and the 
testing of PCB layouts
• Concept design, component selection, preparation of circuit diagrams, 
PCB layouts and identification of suitable materials
• Analysis of the performance and feasibility of alternative hardware 
concepts
• Programming of microcontrollers (Atmel + ARM family)
• Prototyping, test setups
• Admission tests - EMC, electrical safety, CE, UL
• Project management

• Transfer of electronic hardware from a small batch series into mass 
production

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• The passion and dedication to create the best toy robotic product ever

• The ability to take responsibility and work independently

• A practical, focused and solution-oriented approach to work
• Good mechanical skills and who likes to build and make things
• An excellent knowledge of electronics (analog and digital)
• A very good knowledge of the common tools used in hardware development 
(Eagle etc.)
• Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing / assembly
• Good programming skills in C
• Experience with test software for the initiation of microcontrollers
• Some experience in the development of battery-powered devices ( in 
particular battery protection circuits for Li-Ion batteries)
• A degree in engineering (electrical engineering, or equivalent). This 
would be advantageous, but is not essential.
