mid-2028 for a project developing _a recommender system for
mathematical source code_.

We are seeking motivated students with a background in Computer
Science, Mathematics, or related fields who have an interest in open
science. The positions offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to
an innovative research initiative while gaining hands-on experience in
a professional research environment.

Key details:

• Duration: Until mid-2028
• Location: Berlin (FIZ Karlsruhe offices)
• Work arrangement: Regular on-site presence required; remote work
available on a case-by-case basis
• Target candidates: Bachelor's students in Computer Science,
Mathematics, or related fields

What we value:

• Interest in open science and collaborative research
• Possibility of co-authoring research papers
• Background or interest in software engineering, continuous
development, Linux, Python, and web development (a plus)
