Designing Education with Artificial Intelligence (6 ECTS, graded, hybrid)


Kick-off Wednesdays May 10 | 8 - 10 am | MAR 0.007


Under the slogan “prototyping EdTech”, you develop technology-driven solutions in independent project groups to contribute to global educational challenges in higher education and the labor market through Artificial Intelligence.

The starting point are real world education challenges from university (Stanford University<https://www.stanford.edu/>) and, NGO's (Naturefit<https://www.naturefit.org/>) corporate partners (TBA). The prototyping process is supported by impulse lectures from experts, mentoring as well as expert interviews recorded by the students as a podcast. Last term we were supported by experts from big tech, startups, venture capital, academia, and consulting joining us from Tel Aviv and Silicon Valley up to Sidney and London.

The focus is on the transformation of education and questions about how education is taught, perceived, financed or consumed. In other words, how AI can support learning not only directly, but also indirectly by looking at organizations and institutions, parents and teachers, as well as employees and supervisors.

This course is for non-technical and technical students from later bachelors, to masters and auditing PhD! Diverse teams (4-5 max) with prior project work experience are particularly welcomed.

Credit: 6 ECTS all free electives, IMES (mandatory elective innovation/entrepreneurship)
